Self Cleaning filters are automatic stainless steel filters with a wide range of applications that reduce the manual cleaning process. Owing to the sturdy construction of filters, they are suitable for cleaning all types of liquids including paints, oils, grease, petrol, syrup, condensate, etc. The dirty residue is raked into the sludge chamber from where it is drained away from filters at intervals which results in cleaning of filters. Self-cleaning filters don’t require any maintenance and are used to remove contaminating particles from water and protect the pipes. These filters are mostly applicable in wastewater treatment plants for ammonia, chlorine and turbidity analysis. Being constructed of stainless steel these filters provide excellent corrosion resistance and good durability and chemical resistibility.
