Abstract

Global Eitelite Market: Overview

Eitelite is a type of carbonate mineral mainly found in limestone and dolomites–type of carbonate rocks. It is a blend of magnesium and sodium carbonate. The eitelite crystals species differ in color and vary according to their origin. Eitelite is closely connected with other minerals such as northupite, trona, searlesite leucosphenite, and others. It has been named after Wilhelm Hermann Julius Eitel, who first synthesized eitelite. It is used as a bonding agent in castings owing to its high sodium content. Eitelite, being a carbonate material, finds its application in the manufacturing of detergents, soaps, glass, ceramics, and paper.

Global Eitelite Market: Segmentation

The global eitelite market is segmented into its planar type, end-users, and geography. On the basis of planar type, the eitelite market is divided into non-planar, planar-e, and planar-s. Based on end-users, the market is categorized into paper, dyes and pigments, detergents and cleaners, glass and ceramics, and others. On the basis of geography, the market is segregated into North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East and Africa.

Global Eitelite Market: Growth Factors

The eitelite market is a growing market owing to increasing demand for eitelite in various end-user industries such as paper and pulp, dyes and pigments, and detergent. Also, accelerated demand for eitelite in the ceramic and glass industries is anticipated to drive the global eitelite market during the forecast period. However, economic conditions are expected to witness a slowdown in some of the major countries such as the U.S. and China. This may hamper the growth of eitelite market to some extent.

Global Eitelite Market: Regional Analysis

North America is expected to be the major shareholder in the eitelite market. High rate of consumption of eitelite as well as the rising demand from pulp and paper industry drives the eitelite market in this region. Also, a major occurrence of eitelite is seen in Utah in North America. This has further boosted the market growth. The advanced technology for mining is available in North America which has positively influenced the growth of eitelite market. Following North America in its growth is Europe mainly due to its robust mining industry. Germany, the U.K, Spain, Italy, and France are some of the countries participating actively in the eitelite market growth. Asia Pacific too is generating significant revenue especially in countries such as India, China, and Taiwan. These countries are anticipated to hold a major share of the market in this region owing to the vast development of end-users industries. Presence of carbonate rocks and oil of carbonates has positively influenced the market growth of the Middle East and Africa. A fair share of the market growth will also be contributed by Latin America in the coming years.
